Bird Pediatric Dentistry
Patient Review
My oldest child was referred to Dr Bird for Braces from another Pediatric Dentist. She did a fabulous job on a complicated dental problem. I love looking at his smile now. She was fabulous. After this experience and the fact that she is also a pediatric dentist we have switched all 3 of our children to her practice for all their dental needs. We coudnt be happier. Her office staff is friendly, her assistants are caring. We can make convenient appointments. When my children need any work done after their exam and cleaning, I received a treatment proposal that was explained to me by the dentist. I was told my options and agreed to the recommended care. My children have had no complaints of: the filling of a cavity, and an extraction of a tooth. My youngest will eventually need braces and I am highly confident that she will make his smile as beautiful as she did my oldest son.

Bird Dentistry is the best place possible for any child to go to. We had been at a decent dentist office for a couple of years, but the wait time was awful and they never got to know my children the way Dr. Bird does. My three children have been going there for 4 years now and I could never change dentists, even if I wanted to. The children love her. She is patient and kind with my them every time. Today my youngest had 2 teeth removed and a filing. They brought her back and held her hand through the whole procedure. The TV in the ceiling along with the kindness of the staff helped her tremendously. I'm at the point where I'm trying to get my 11th grader to start to get used to the fact that she will probably not have Dr. Bird as a dentist when she goes to college. She remains adamant that she will just have to schedule her appointments for when she comes home. (Dr. Bird, she is 5ft 8; you may have to extend the bed sizes if she grows anymore!). All in all, every time, a truly positive experience.

Run far far away from Bird Pediatric Dentistry. A practice that does not allow a parent to be present while treatment takes place is down right wrong and scary. Have you heard in the news of that pediatric dentist that removed 8 extra teeth? Or that child that died after receiving anesthesia? Or that dentist that was sexually abusing people? Children cannot advocate for themselves. There are many other pediatric dentists in the Charlotte area that welcome parent presence. In addition, Dr. Bird and her dental hygienists are just not friendly or polite. We switched to Carolina Kids Dentistry in Mint Hill - great experience.

This is a great pediatric dental practice. It is clean and well run. The dental assistants introduce themselves to you before they take your child back and ask if you have any questions or concerns. You can go back into the dental cleaning area if you need to. The kids watch a movie while they get their teeth cleaned. I had never met Dr. Gulati before, but found her to be very nice. She explained everything she needed to do to me and to my children. She was polite to her dental assistants and helped create a positive atmosphere in the treatment room.
