Daughter needed a cavity filled. I was told that she needed laughing gas for the procedure (which is a flat out of pocket fee). It was not until I questioned the use of nitrous that they told me it was optional but I felt really pressured. Daughter had cavity filled and we were out the door in less than 40 minutes but we never saw the dentist. The assistant brought her out and reminded me Dr. Bird recommended braces (even though we had just discussed that we see an orthodontist). It really bothers me that Dr. Bird does not take the time to speak with the parent after a procedure, even one as small as a cavity filling. This practice is too concerned with profit for my comfort. I feel like we are just a # I will be finding another dentist for my 3 children.

Absolutely awful. I don't even want to give a star but I have to to write a review. Dr. Wong should have her liscense pulled as a pediatric dentist. We brought our daughter (3 years old) to have decay repaired on her front teeth. We've had the treatment planned for months and, on the morning of the procedure, AFTER/WHILE they have our daughter out under anesthesia, she said they all of the sudden have to pull both of her front teeth. Now our daughter will wake up be toothless without any knowledge or planning on her hand. Dr. Wong was rude in her explanations and dangled the fact that our daughter was under anesthesia at the moment over our heads. We were forced to make a life-changing decision for our daughter at their mercy because she was already under anesthesia.

Nice office staff but I had a problem with their policy of not allowing parents back with small children who need to have a cavity filled. As a parent of a 5 year old and the one who is the responsible party for bills, I should have the option of going into the room with my child. I was not given this option; therefore, Bird Dentistry will not be our pediatric dentist.
