Meet Dr. Athena Kabouris

Dr. Athena was born and raised in Westchester County, NY. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minor in Psychology from the Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine also in Boston, MA. After finishing her general practice residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York, she joined the Mount Sinai Health System in Manhattan in 2020 and earned the distinction of completing a residency in Pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Athena Kabouris has wanted to be a denist ever since she was a little girl. She was inspired by her own pediatric dentist and wanted to replicate her positive experience for others. Dr. Athena strives to provide a fun and enjoyable experience, while providing quality care that fits the unique needs of each child. She is a lover of ice cream, the color pink, and dancing. During her free time, she enjoys the company of her husband and two young children.
