Meet Dr. Bird and Associates

Dr. Suzanne Bird

Dr. Bird is one of a handful of dentists in the United States who is both an orthodontist and a pediatric dentist. She specializes in doing orthodontic on children of all ages. She closely follows children’s facial growth and space needed for permanent teeth. She often can guide her patients’ growth and development by starting orthodontic treatment at an early age if needed.

Dr. Bird graduated with Honors from the UNC School of Dentistry. She obtained a master’s degree in pediatric dentistry from The Ohio State University and Columbus Children’s Hospital. She completed her education by obtaining a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

In her spare time, Dr. Bird enjoys traveling to tropical destinations with her husband ,Jake, and two step children, Emily and Jacob. She is a huge pet lover as her three dogs, Maggie, Daisy and Molly can tell you.

Dr. Boo Lee

Dr. Lee was born in Seoul, Korea and raised in Leland, NC.
She attended UNC-Chapel Hill for a B.S. in Nutrition at the School of Public Health.
She graduated from UNC School of Dentistry and completed a general practice residency at York Hospital in Pennsylvania.
She received her pediatric specialty training at University of Maryland Dental School.

During her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys the outdoors with her husband, Ben and their son Andrew.

Dr. Ben Davis

Dr. Davis grew up in Western North Carolina in the small mountain town of Sylva, NC. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a BA in Biology. Dr. Davis furthered his education with a BS in Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Davis graduated with honors from the UNC School of Dentistry.

After practicing for a year as a general dentist in Durham, he completed specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Davis is a board certified pediatric dentist and board certified Pharmacist.

Dr. Davis is an active member of the following organizations:

Dr. Davis lives with his lovely wife Boo and son Andrew. He enjoys biking, hiking, fishing and all outdoor activities. He also loves watching ACC basketball.
