Please be aware that the parent bringing the child to our office is legally responsible for payment of all charges. We cannot send statements to other persons.
Payment is expected in full for each appointment as services are rendered. For our patients with dental insurance, we are happy to submit your claim and file to most dental insurance companies. We ask that you pay for non-covered portions at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. We also participate in a dental financing plan called Care Credit. Apply at www.carecredit.com or ask our office for more information.
The cost of appliances must be paid on the day your child’s impressions are taken. This is necessary because our office must pay the lab bills when appliances are ordered.
Various payment options for orthodontic treatment are offered. These are Care Credit, Chase Financial, and 0% in-house financing if you qualify. You will be asked to fill out a credit application to determine the terms for in-house financing.
We recognize that under unusual circumstances an account balance may be incurred. Bird Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics requires that all outstanding balances be paid in full within thirty days unless other arrangements have been made. Please note if we have not received payment or you have not contacted us within thirty days, further action may be taken with a collection agency or with Small Claims Court. We reserve the right to apply an interest rate of eighteen percent (18%) from the date of service.
